Florida experimentalist XXYYXX has dropped off a short new piece entitled “Zygote.” The 18-year-old producer’s calling card has become his minimalist hybridization of dreamy and melancholic sounds, and this track follows along those same sonic lines. Set over the track’s restless percussion, the woozy synths and R&B-tinged vocal clips collide together to create a listening experience that is unmistakably an XXYYXX production.
