It’s not often we see a trailer for an interview, but when it’s between the likes of Zane Lowe and Rick Rubin it’s easy to understand why it’s a promotable occasion. As the majority of you already are well aware of, Rubin has played an integral role in music over the last 25 years, working with the likes of Jay Z, Johnny Cash, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many, many more. However, as the trailer reinforces, he doesn’t sit down for interviews too often. Given that rare opportunity, there are few people better suited to converse with Rubin than Zane Lowe, who has interviewed his fair share of music legends of the years, including his infamous 2013 sit down with Kanye West.
