There is little doubt that Sir Mix-A-Lot that you are not familiar with Sir Mix-A-Lot’s 1992 classic “Baby Got Back.” Here’s a version you have never seen before as the Seattle native joined forces with composer Gabriel Prokofiev at Benaroya Hall on Saturday night to rap along to an orchestral version of “Baby Got Back.” It is worth pointing out that Prokofiev is not only the grandson of famed Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev but also the founder of London-based label NONCLASSICAL which specializes in fusing electronic with classical composition.
