StorkStand Mobile Standing Desk
There’s no need to get bogged down with statistics and quotes, as anyone who’s worked a desk job

There’s no need to get bogged down with statistics and quotes, as anyone who’s worked a desk job knows all too well the aches and pains that come with sitting for extended periods of time. Yet, even with the likelihood of future health problems and declining productivity lingering on the horizon, standing desks are just too expensive for employees and employers alike to make the switch. Enter Mike Goldberg and his San Francisco-based brand StorkStand. This ingenious design attaches to just about any office chair with a durable Velcro strap, thus turning an ordinary chair into a mobile workstation or a sturdy podium capable of supporting up to 50 pounds. Priced below the $200 USD mark, StorkStand is still looking for some backers before its Kickstarter campaign ends this coming Monday, June 16.
