After launching “0 to 100/The Catch-Up” just earlier this week, Drake drops yet another music project to take over the summer. This time around, the rapper and his October’s Very Own imprint joins forces with OG Ron and Chopstars to release the HAW Chopstars mixtape. Comprised of several chopped versions of familiar Drake and Lil Wayne tunes, the mixtape comes ahead of Drizzy’s Houston Appreciation Weekend (H.A.W.) festival this month. The festival will include, amongst other things, a pop-up shop at Premium Goods, a pool party, basketball tournament, and of course, a warehouse performance. Consider the above then, the soundtrack for what sounds like an intense weekend. Enjoy the mix above, and head over to HYPETRAK for the full details on Houston Appreciation Weekend.
