Having recently been honored with the title of music director for the U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team for the impending World Cup, Lupe Fiasco has been touring around the States promoting his forthcoming LP, Tetsuo & Youth. In a recent stop, Sway and Heather B of Sway in the Morning put the Grammy Award-winning emcee on blast with a freestyle request. Although he begins with a humble disclaimer, Lu proceeds to drop one of the better freestyles we’ve heard in quite some time, yet again reminding us where he belongs among hip-hop’s upper echelon.
