Drake is in talks with another major brand to lend his star power. After working with Sprite, Nike and EA Sports, the Toronto native is now reportedly negotiating with BlackBerry to promote the new BlackBerry Classic, the new smartphone the Canadian company is bringing to market later this year. As TechCrunch points out, the device is a blend of the current BlackBerry Q10 and the Bold 9900 featuring BlackBerry OS 10 software, a 3.5-inch touchscreen, navigation keys, and an optical trackpad button. Drizzy’s promotion will entail his involvement in the design process of the new smartphone. Rumor has it Drake has apparently resisted the urge to upgrade to BB10 because no device that runs that OS has a physical trackpad, which is among his favorite features of the 9900. However, the deal is not finalized and could still fall through.
