Chet Faker - Talk is Cheap (Ta-ku Remix)

HYPETRAK favorite Ta-Ku has collaborated with and remixed Chet Faker before, so this new remix of Faker original “Talk is Cheap” should come as no surprise to those who have been following along. For his remix, Ta-ku takes the track into a wholly different sonic dimension, placing an R&B & rap-inflected percussive rattle as its backbone and interspersing high-pitched, ghostly squeals in the spaces between snaps and snares. This may not be something that will detonate dancefloors, but it is something that you can get immersed in and lost to. Check out Ta-Ku’s remix above.
