Check Out Diplo's Genre-Mixing EDC Set

Diplo headlined this past Friday at the Electric Daisy Carnival in Vegas, and his full set is available for streaming. Praise is already rolling in for the Mad Decent boss, with  LA Weekly dubbing him “the star of the first night” of EDC’s three-day festivities, saying he “dazzled with his blend of hip-hop, bass, and ragga influences.” Diplo is certainly no stranger to blending genres, as his hybridizing approach to music has basically put him in the position he’s at as an acclaimed and renowned producer/DJ. His EDC set seemed to be singled out for its eclecticism, with the likes of Kanye West, Chief Keef, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Daft Punk, RL Grime and more being mixed together to dancefloor perfection.
