BMW has unveiled its new second generation X6 for the 2015 model year. Leaner and meaner than the outgoing X6, the new model will be available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive variants with engines including a 3.0 liter turbocharged inline-six and a 4.4 liter V8. Exterior changes are relatively minor but the option of an M Sport kit adds a decidedly more aggressive look to the sporty crossover. Inside, the cabin features generous amounts of leather and either wood or metal trims and a center console dominated by the company’s iDrive system. The new X6 will be available from BMW this fall.
