Indie quartet Glass Animals‘ Dave Bayley has released a remix of buzzing singer-songwriter BANKS‘ hit ”Drowning.” Bayley’s new rework of “Drowning” replaces the moody, modern R&B aesthetic with a bass-heavy boom bap bounce, completely changing the percussive muscle of the original. The track’s vocals are still in full effect, but Bayley’s transformative touches on the production turn the cut into a hybrid of hip-hop, pop, and R&B soundscapes.
