Watch a Throwback Video of Dr. Dre & Steve Jobs Discussing the Online Music Market

With all the recent news surrounding Apple‘s takeover of Beats, here’s a old-but-relevant clip of when Dr. Dre and Steve Jobs had a quick conversation about iTunes in front of a packed crowd. Back in 2003, Jobs called up Dre via iChat during a conference, and proceeded to have a short chat with the LA legend about the online music market. Although nothing particularly groundbreaking is revealed during the short clip, it definitely makes for an interesting throwback experience, and Dre even offers up a gem when he says he can’t attend because he’s “in the studio working on his new record.”
