Yesterday The Black Keys released the video for “Fever,” the new single off their upcoming album Turn Blue. In the video, there was a number listed throughout the clip, and considering the visual has already received close to a quarter of a million views within 24 hours, it wasn’t long until people started calling the number. As you will hear in the piece above, calling the number brought you to a recording of a series of prank phone call conversations drummer Patrick Carney had with record labels. During Carney’s calls, he disguises himself as the “new age” artist Quartzazium and seeks out a “four album deal.” Take a listen to the entire prank above.
