Dave Harrington‘s musical connection to collaborator Nicolas Jaar and their Darkside project has stood out for years in the world of electronic and alternative music, but this year, the Brooklyn-based artist released his first solo EP titled Before This There Was One Heart But a Thousand Thoughts - and now he’s linked up with HYPETRAK for an even closer look at his creative personality. Shedding light on his personality by sharing a peek at his most essential travel items, it seems like the multi-instrument phenomenon has a story for everything, with mementos such as an age-old T-shirt and a broken guitar cable standing as equally important to utility items such as a laptop and guitar. Making way for new items in his grid of music necessities, Harrington’s grid boasts bits and pieces from around the world, with a Bill Frisell CD from Australia being paired alongside a music box from Zurich, while his guitar and case are from his hometown of Brooklyn.
