Young Scooter made an impact at the beginning of the year with his first post-jail project Street Lottery 2, and now the Georgia rapper is beginning to liberate cuts from the mixtape’s forthcoming remix edition. The first track to be released is the Young Thug collaboration “Big Better,” and for those already sold on Scooter’s brand of street music he calls “count music” this is virtually essential listening. Over a backdrop that contains the usual bass-heavy, trunk-tearing slasher-film sounds, Scooter gives his rapped take on betting, sports and more, while Thugga is his usual drug-warped, eccentric self. Street Lottery 2: Remix Edition is scheduled for release on July 4.
