Last weekend, Pharrell brought out a list of friends and collaborators during his performance at Coahcella Music & Arts Festival. Continuing his high-powered sets, the all-embracing artist returns to Coachella for his second show at the festival. Takings attendees down memory lane, P invited Busta Rhymes to deliver a live rendition to their 2001-hit “Pass the Courvoisier II,” while 2013’s “Blurred Lines” saw the assistance of Robin Thicke and T.I. Longstanding collaborator and fellow Virginia native Pusha T provided an opening verse on the Clipse’s “Grindin,” before Usher offered his tenor on The Neptunes-produced hit “U Don’t Have to Call.” Rounding out the dynamic performance, Pharrell unveiled none other than Jay Z on his lineup of special guests, treating the crowd to timeless numbers like “Frontin,” “La La La (Excuse Me Miss Again)” and “I Just Wanna Love U (Give it 2 Me).” For those who missed the captivating performance, see below for some fan-captured footage and head to HYPETRAK for more on Coachella 2014.
