There’s good news for runners as New Balance introduces a fresh rendition of its modern 890 runner, done up here for the 2014 Boston Marathon. The brand has done well to support the Boston athletic community over the past year, and was inspired this time by the honorific #LoveBoston hashtag. This limited-edition 890v4 is executed with high-visibility yellow mesh throughout the seamless FantomFit upper, contrasted by tonal tape around the forefoot and a black ‘N’ logo. These features rest atop New Balance’s ineffably comfortable REVlite midsole, as well as an ABZORB Crash Pad for tireless shock absorption. Special details include a Massachusetts emblem at the back of the shoe, a heart decal at both heel counter, and a custom printed insole. Look for this special release at CNCPTS now, ahead of the historic marathon on April 21.
