An unexpected turn of events finds Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s fragment design label collaborating with Carhartt WIP, here presenting a small capsule of work-inspired garb. The endeavor finds the two parties unveiling three T-shirts and a simple twill workshirt, each executed in a reserved, wearable color palette of white, navy and black. Co-branded insignias and logos simply overlap Carhartt’s block lettering with a vowel-less abbreviation of “fragment” – resulting in the “CAFRGMT” naming while also honoring the classic “College” T-shirt. It looks like the Japanese audience will get first dibs on this release, which is dropping at the Carhartt WIP Store in Tokyo beginning April 30, then hitting other WIP retailers in the ensuing weeks.
