As its name suggests, UPPERCUT is a brand based on principles of boldness, excellence — the moniker is a play on “the superior cut” — and uncompromising design and quality. Based in Milan, the contemporary menswear label creates shapes, colors, and materials that draw inspiration from music and underground culture, resulting in a timely mix of high-end fashion, technical wear and streetwear. New for Spring/Summer 2014 is a graphic-driven range of Italian-made goods that features jackets, printed tees, shorts and crewneck sweaters. Highlights include the X-ray-like prints of the Structure tees and shorts, as well as our favorite — a tie-dye anorak and a pair of matching shorts constructed from a weather-resistant, stretch jersey fabric by Schoeller.
