Adding to the list of collaborations for this year’s re-release of the Stan Smith, adidas Consortium has teamed up with Japanese designer Shigeki Fujishiro to give the Stan Smith a fun makeover with this “PLAY” pack release. Expressing his fascination with spacial relationships — a familiar theme for the designer — Fujishiro has added colored string to the classic silhouette to give a new look to the perforated Three Stripes. The rest of the shoe is kept clean and simple in all-white leather, which serves as a great backdrop for the playful string designs.
