Showcasing the Spring/Summer 2014 line around Naples and Sicily, Basile – who has previously collaborated with Carhartt on similar projects – paints a solemn portrait of a young man searching for truth and purpose. These ideas are projected against the backdrop of the sun-bleached Italian shoreline, almost surreal in its beauty, yet which still harbors subtly sinister overtones.
