A multidisciplinary artist that often draws from technology and anthropology in his work, Gogy Esparza‘s latest project BIKELIFE looks to the fledgling subculture of dirt bike riding in New York. A photo documentary shot entirely on 35mm film, the tome consists of intimate portraits and action shots of the scene’s proud stewards. Taken over the city’s boroughs, Esparza sheds light on a movement often reinterpreted in popular culture, presenting a striking body of work in follow up to his last release VANILLA. BIKELIFE is set to be released in late 2014, head to Gogy Esparza’s webpage for more on the photographer.
