After premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival last September, Andre 3000‘s Jimi Hendrix biopic, “Jimi: All Is By My Side,” will make its U.S. debut later this year at SXSW. The film sees the Outkast emcee portraying the legendary guitarist during the time period of 1966-67, where he started finding early success with his unique sound. Another notable film set to hit the screen at SXSW is the documentary surrounding A$AP Rocky and the A$AP Mob, titled “SVDDXNLY,” directed by David Laven.  The full line up of films set to air at this year’s SXSW festival can be viewed by clicking here.
