Social Status x New Balance 1600 "Winter in the Hamptons"

Streetwear boutique Social Status has teamed up with New Balance to release a limited edition version of the CM1600 silhouette. Inspiration stems from the retailer’s penchant for premium denim along with an interest for the finer things in life like boating. Thus, we find an upper comprised of pig suede, nubuck and Cone® denim for a luxury aesthetic, where further pig-skin leather details are also utilized to represent the interiors of premium yachts. This is then complemented by the dark denim accents to represent the coastal winters, while teal hits signify the blissful ocean state. Finishing touches include a solid rubber outsole that incorporates New Balance’s ABZORB technology and a special leather hangtag. The sneaker will be available on December 13 at all six Social Status locations and at its online store for $165 USD.
