If you were present during Joey Bada$$‘s recent B4.DA.$$ tour you more than likely caught a live premiere of the Brooklyn emcee’s unreleased track, “No. 99.” Following a trailer posted this afternoon, it appears that Joey’s camp has decided to employ visual aesthetics on this new single from his forthcoming studio debut. Recruiting Queens-native Rik Cordero for directing duty, this epic-scale teaser sets the tone for this riotous Statik Selektah joint with a breaking news intro to the fictitious vigilante, “Badmon.” Watch as the steel jason-masked Joey Bada$$ ignites the revolution against the system in this music video that is scheduled for a December 9 release. His B4.DA.$$ album drops next year on January 20.
