With the political upheaval and protests stemming from the recent headline-dominating non-indictments, Afropunk decided to kick off their new monthly mixtape series by curating this widely relevant compilation entitled, Public Unrest. This fitting introductory installment is a 45-min mix that includes boisterous electro tracks as well a soulful acoustic tunes that serve as a timely backdrop to this past month’s protests and current events.
