The days of accidentally embarrassing yourself by belting out the wrong song lyrics may soon be over. Google is looking to revolutionize the song lyric search by linking its service to Google Play in order to deliver the exact result you seek. By typing in a song name in the Google search bar, or name and artist for more common song titles, you will see the lyric results without having to click on any other website, giving you a direct connection to your desired verses instead of poorly constructed imitations on obscure websites. Google Play will allow you to listen or buy the song as you read along with it. Competitors need not be totally distraught, however, as due to licensing issues, certain artists will not be found in Google Play’s database. Try it out here.
