Over the past couple of months since it’s debut and swift rise to dominance, we’ve seen our fair share of memes, parodies and discussions around O.T. Genasis‘ “CoCo.” We’ve heard some covers floating around, too, but none quite like this one from GNASH (pronounced “nash”). The Los Angeles-based producer, singer and songwriter has put a unique twist on the song, one that serves as the downtempo, emotional twin brother of the decidedly turn-up anthem of the moment.
