The immensely popular image editing app VSCO Cam has finally outgrown its smartphone format with the release of the long-awaited iPad version in its major 4.0 version upgrade. With it, the app will be able to utilize the vastly increased real estate of the iPad screen, allowing easier and more accurate editing of images at a higher resolution. Hailed by VSCO as the largest update since the launch of the app, the iPad version comes alongside a new history view while editing, the ability to sync pictures between devices, and the introduction of VSCO Journal – a new publishing platform that encourages photography-focused blogging. VSCO Cam 4.0 is now available as a free upgrade for iOS 8 devices and can be found over at the iTunes Store.
