Rap mogul JAY Z has acquired luxury champagne brand Armand de Brignac, known for its “Ace of Spades” label, to add to his growing portfolio of business acquisitions. A popular fixture in many nightclubs and with a number of athletes, the premium champagne retails for $300 USD per bottle, while a 30-liter bottle weighing around 100 lbs can sell for over $200K USD. JAY Z’s affinity for the Ace of Spades label is no secret as a gold bottle appeared in his 2006 music video for “Show Me What You Got,” in addition to endorsing the brand at his infamous 40/40 Club in Manhattan.
