Giorgio Moroder – 74 is the New 24

While the industry had always seemed to be run by young artists, 74-year-old Giorgio Moroder switches the game up with his release of his new song, appropriately titled “74 is the New 24”. While a foreshadow of his appearance last year on Daft Punk’s “Giorgio by Moroder” from Random Access Memories might’ve hinted a possible comeback, it was only recently that he announced the making of his fourteenth studio album, due for spring 2015. Having been inactive for the last 30 years, the disco legend now rocks a current electronic sound and the album will feature artists like Britney Spears, Sia, Charli XCX, and Mikky Ekko.
