Community-driven hospitality company Airbnb has announced that it will start publishing a print magazine titled Pineapple. Focusing on a range of travel topics including local food, art, fashion, and culture, Pineapple aims to highlight the people and local flavors of each unique destination. Stories for the first issue include an architectural tour of Seoul’s dynamic skyline with top architect Minsuk Cho of Mass Studies in addition to a guide to SF’s Outer Sunset neighborhood while a Q&A with Hans Ulrich Obrist, curator of the Serpentine Gallery in London, completes the three-city feature. Set for an official launch at the Airbnb Open on November 21, Pineapple will be available for purchase at select retailers in North America and Europe.
