Converse marries its classic Chuck Taylor All Star silhouette with cold-weather protection this season with the First String All Star Chuck ‘70 Down. Featuring a diamond quilted nylon upper, filled with an 80/20 ratio of real duck down to feathers, the shoe sits atop a clean white foxing tape sole. Taking inspiration from classic winter outerwear such as the elegant quilted jacket, the upper displays details such as the colorful red-and-blue grosgrain lace loop running up the tongue, as well as the tonal eyelets, toecap and outsole. Meanwhile, a microsuede lining promises to keep your feet toasty on the harshest of winter days. Available in Beluga and Gray Morn colorways, the All Star Chuck ‘70 Down will be sold online and at Converse retail stores on November 28.
