Brenmar featuring Rome Fortune & Lil Uzi Vert - We Rollin

Brenmar links up with up-and-coming rappers Rome Fortune and Lil Uzi Vert for a new track, “We Rollin.” “We Rollin” finds Rome Fortune and Lil Uzi Vert waxing poetic about drugged-out nights and women over Brenmar’s hypnotic backdrop of sleek, rubbery synth-work and Mustard-esque percussion. Speaking to FADER about the song, Brenmar says the whole process surrounding the track’s creation unfolded in a very short time frame. The Chicago producer/DJ and Rome Fortune had initially “linked up to write a track” but “only had enough time to lock down a beat and the verses,” while Lil Uzi Vert’s portion was laid down only “five minutes” after he first heard the song. You can check out “We Rollin” below, and expect a new EP from Brenmar entitled Award to see release via Fool’s Gold in January of 2015.
