For its third collection, burgeoning New York City-based label Aimé Leon Dore has limited itself to utilizing only four colors – navy, heather grey, camel and cream – to showcase its creative powers. Dubbed the “0214” collection, the lineup encompasses 14 pieces of which include outerwear, shirts, sweats, legwear and accessories, all handcrafted from New York’s historic Garment District. Staying consistent with the label’s philosophy of clean, uniform looks, we find premium materials incorporated throughout such as Italian wool, french terry and selvedge denim, which also provide the extra touch of functionality. Looks are then finished off in an urban aesthetic as overcoats are paired with hooded sweaters, and shirts are matched with tailored jogger pants. The Aimé Leon Dore 2014 winter “0214” collection will be available at the brand’s online store from November 24.
