In celebration of its 175th anniversary, Patek Philippe is releasing a very special, limited edition World Time Moon timepiece. Alongside a multi-part dial for the world time function and hour hand representing the Southern Cross, the most notable detail of the watch face is the moon phase display featuring an especially realistic rendering of the moon on metallized glass discs. The timepiece will be available in two models — the men’s Reference 5575 comes in a 39.8mm 18k white gold case, while the women’s Reference 7175 will come in a 38mm 18k rose gold case with a diamond bezel. The watch is powered by the self-winding caliber 240 HU LU developed especially for the moon phase display, while the solid case back features a commemorative engraving. Limited to only 1,300 pieces for the men’s model, find out more about this timepiece at Patek Philippe.
