Introducing Timberland Fall 2014 MarkMakers
The Timberland brand has a long heritage in rugged boots best suited for the outdoors and work
The Timberland brand has a long heritage in rugged boots best suited for the outdoors and work environments, but while the classic boot’s versatility has long been adopted from workwear to fashion, the brand in recent seasons has been quietly releasing a whole new collection that maintains its rugged heritage presented in stylish new looks for the everyday demands of life in the city. Here to demonstrate their unique interpretations of Timberland’s most recent collection are the MarkMakers, five creative talents who have partnered with Timberland to highlight their unique and flavorful interpretations of their environments and passions. Each of these influencers presents their outlook on life and what drives them to make their mark: Erin Lowder, who holds a degree in fashion design, is general manager of the Chicago-based Solemn Oath craft beer brewery; Jesse Boykins III is a New York City-based singer-songwriter who combines soul, reggae and alternative rock into a style he calls “world soul”; Sean Sullivan is a photographer based out of Los Angeles who strives to recreate the timeless aesthetic of many of his favorite photographs; and Dane Orr and Anna Wise are Sonnymoon, classically trained musicians from Boston who create music from a mix of electronica, R&B, jazz, avant-garde, and pop all at once.
