Timberland and Veneda Carter Unveil Their Biggest Collaboration Yet
Marking the duo’s third team-up, the line features two new patent-leather boots, four utilitarian ready-to-wear garments and a sleek crossbody bag.
Timberland and Veneda Carter first linked in September 2022, when the Danish-born, Los Angeles-based designer reimagined the American footwear label’s classic workwear boot as a shiny, knee-high heel. Thanks to much fanfare, the duo reconnected earlier this year to create a patent leather version of Timberland’s classic 6-Inch Premium Waterproof Boot. Flash forward nine months, and the pair is back again for their third capsule collection — this time, a succinct line featuring two new footwear models, four Fall 2024 ready-to-wear pieces and one new accessory.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the 14-Inch Lace w/ Zip Boot, which appears in an edgy blue and silver color palette. The silhouette, which takes after Timberland’s EuroDub boot from the 2000s, employs a premium patent leather upper, ReBOTL™ fabric lining, a functional size zipper and a comfort-first EVA footbed. Just as cool is the duo’s new silver patent leather 6-Inch Waterproof Boot, which enlists a seam-sealed build, a full-grain loeather collar, the same ReBOTL™ fabric lining and an EVA footbed.
“At the time I started working on this collection with Timberland, I was very drawn to stainless steel and chrome furniture, which comes to life in the silver patent leather,” Carter said. “The inspiration on the tall boot, on the other hand, came from a discontinued blue Euro Dub colorway that I loved. It all comes together with a monochromatic apparel capsule that is both elevated and practical for everyday wear. You can see how the pieces can easily be layered and worn together – something that was important to me.”
Those apparel pieces include an oversized Ravine Parka with two-way zippers and ample utilitarian pockets, a black cordura vest with lightweight mesh insulation, a two-in-one skirt with hip pockets and an adjustable hem, and a boiler suit with full side leg zippers and functional chest pockets. Rounding out the range, the Veneda Crossbody Bag complements the lineup with enlarged piping details and internal storage compartments.
The new Timberland x Veneda Carter collection is now available to shop online and in Timberland stores across the US and Canada, and the line will launch globally on November 22. Take a look at the range in the gallery above.
