G-Star have teamed up with Swiss furniture design company Vitra to bring you utilitarian furniture that pays homage to Jean Prouvé, a designer who in the 1940s would design for major French industrial companies. Initially conceived to furnish G-Star HQ, the simplistic design was determined to be marketable to those who want solid structure in simplistic form. Desks have been made with power fittings and height-adjustable legs to make a statement that simple doesn’t necessarily mean less. Made of steel and timber, finished with leather and other premium fabrics, the designs range from desks to office chairs to lamps, among others. Dubbed the “Prouvé RAW: Office Edition,” these designs will be available from both G-Star and Vitra at the beginning of April 2015.
