Charli XCX - London Queen

Charli XCX has liberated another song off her upcoming album, Sucker. “London Queen,” like preceding release “Break All The Rules,” is a high-energy, rock-based effort that XCX describes as “future Ramones.” Speaking to Rolling Stone about the song, XCX explains that though the song was basically in an “almost-completed state” by the time it came her way and the songwriting process was nearly finished, she felt like the song was about her and too good of an opportunity to pass up. Though the songstress doesn’t usually like to go the premade, preprocessed route when it comes her own songs, she felt so attracted to the number that she had to make it her own. You can listen to “London Queen” above. Sucker will hit shelves on December 16.
