The latest release from BJ the Chicago Kid is an experimental, slow-tempo rework of the Yeezus track “Can’t Hold My Liquor.” The audio features a melodic solo from BJ as well as an impressive guitar spot reminiscent of John Mayer’s “Pyramid” contribution. While a debut album is still pending for the Chicago native, it is clear from the impressive vocals and quality visuals that this artist is ready for further exposure.
