“Like a signal returning from space,” Stone Island‘s 12th installment of the Shadow Project echoes the future as it makes its Spring/Summer 2014 debut. Juxtaposing vectors and geometry with familiar processes and patinas, the so-called “6019” collection sees architecturally precise blazers contrasted with the brand’s signature treatments across sportswear and streetwear archetypes like crewneck sweatshirts, hoodies, bombers and more. The streets are further referenced by the neon fluorescent accents – evocative of a hidden back alley – throughout as graphics are reverse-printed and engineered into three-dimensional optical knits.
