Nike ACG’s Alder silhouette has enjoyed a bit of popularity of late, by virtue of its handsome athletic features combined with a certain trail-ready ruggedness. Just in time for the new year, the Swoosh has introduced the Alder in a classic street-style colorway, contrasting some of the shoe’s more lively color pairings of late. Dubbed “Killer Bees,” this version of the sneaker is executed with black suede and bonded waterproof paneling from the forefoot through the sides. These panels are then garnished with small gold dashes and red hits at the heel pull and lace loops.
