Continuing its love affair with vintage rock styles, McQ Alexander McQueen showcased its Fall/Winter 2014 collection in Paris recently. The British label put forth an interesting combination of red and black patterning – referencing lumberjack flannels – alongside leather and textile patchwork, executing these motifs across a range of slim silhouettes. Cuffed linen trousers are matched with draping sweaters and boxy T-shirts, while frayed fur and wool tops are paired with light patched denim. Rugged, disheveled aesthetics are the keystone motifs of this collection, which will arrive at retailers later in the year.
