Known not only for its expert tailoring, but also for sourcing fabrics from some of the most unorthodox origins, renowned atelier Maison Martin Margiela presented a line of streamlined, outdoorsy pieces for Fall/Winter 2013. Utilizing fabrics from the likes of tents and diving vests, the team constructed a range of contemporary outerwear; water-repellant parkas appear alongside unique biker jackets while traditional military jackets sport tweaks in the form of briefcase-like closures. Even suiting, pea coats and fur-adorned overcoats come in exaggerated, oversized silhouettes while hues of blue and grey dominate the entirety of the offerings.
