American watchmaker Hamilton has dug into its archives to bring back a classic from the ’70s: the Hamilton Pan Europ. When it debuted in 1971, the Pan Europ was one of the first automatic chronographs on the market. For 2014, Hamilton has removed the chronograph function but has kept much of the original design intact. The new Pan Europ features a 42mm cushion case and is powered by an automatic Hamilton H-30 movement. Available with either a blue or grey face, the 2014 Pan Europ’s price will start at $1,095 USD when it reaches dealers this summer.
