Creative director Patrick Grant presents a compelling mood for E. Tautz‘s 2014 fall/winter collection. Inspired by William Hogarth’s artwork, the collection extends itself from British satorialism, where menswear designs from the ’40s and ’50s see reappropriation for contemporary times. Billowy coats are layered by two-piece suits and waistcoats, while herringbone, plaid and color block prints celebrate classic executions. Elsewhere, silk and wool are used on outerwear staples, while abstract emblems provide unique accents on formal silhouettes.
