Set in Arizona in the late 1800s, MacFarlane’s latest comedy sees him play a somewhat gutless character who finds himself in a rough-and-tumble frontier town of the West — one where seemingly a day doesn’t go by without someone dying. When Charlize Theron’s character rides into town, it’s up to MacFarlane to prove he can handle himself well enough to win her affections.
