On the second episode of Portrait, Swedish fashion label VELOUR by Nostalgi sits down with painter Johan Andersson to learn more about the Los Angeles-based artist’s dexterous style. Known for creating compelling renditions that often dabble on social and political themes, we see Andersson use color as an expression, effecting the onlooker via a dynamic blend of accents. Andersson also speaks on his painting on the late great singer Amy Winehouse, an acclaimed piece that was installed at Camden Town tube station by her old residence.
