Though Kobe Bryant will likely lace up a brand new signature silhouette for the upcoming 2013-2014 NBA campaign, Nike isn’t yet done with the Black Mamba’s Kobe 8 System as a “Pit Viper” edition is on tap for a release this October. An evolution from previous snake-inspired takes on the shoe, the “Pit Viper” sees a photo-realistic scale pattern throughout its purple Engineered Mesh upper while Green Glow adorns the lining and branding. The Purple Dynasty/Green Glow-Raspberry Red low-top is due out October 5 at Nike Basketball retailers for $140 USD.
